<b>Duty of proof for cash deposits of more than 10,000 euros</b><br/>

Dear Customer,<br/><br/>
As of August 8, 2021, the German Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (BaFin) will require the presentation of a meaningful document as proof of origin for cash deposits of more than 10,000 euros. <br/>
In the future, we will only be able to accept cash deposits of more than 10,000 euros upon presentation of a suitable receipt showing the origin of the money.<br/><br/>
According to BaFin, suitable evidence may include, in particular:<br/><br/>
- a current account statement relating to your account at another bank showing the cash withdrawal.<br/>
- Cash withdrawal receipts from another bank,<br/>
- Your savings book showing the cash disbursement,<br/>
- Sales and invoice receipts (e.g., car sales receipts, gold sales receipts).<br/><br/>
This is not an exhaustive list.<br/><br/>
Isbank AG also accepts the proofs of origin listed below:<br/><br/>
- Proof of a time deposit with a timely receipt,<br/>
- Confirmation of the repurchase value of endowment life insurance policies or similar.
